Reached Madurai saturday morning, refreshed and straight to Meenakasi Amman Temple- brilliant Architectures and the various sculptures, carving- Graving was done on rocks and granites all over the place. 1000 Pillers mandabam, We worshipped Goddess Meenakshi and rested for sometime near the large kolam directly opposite the main temple. The wall was painted attractingly and we basked the choice of paints and expression of the artist for sometime. Then started to pallaimudhircholai - we choosed to walk up the hills enjoying the pickling-tingling of the cold water inbetween the dark forest with some big slippery rocks. Monkeys are common can see even forest bulls. Bath in the pure water seeped through the hills stone. Avvai Murugar thiruvillayadal(sutta pazham or sudadha pazham) Tree. Prasadams, junk foods, grubs, Jigarthanda were always there in nooks and corner of our trip. Evening visited Alagar temple. Next day it was thiruchandhur temple from tuticorin. on the way we can see Elephant mountain, salt formation fields. we have to go without shirt inside the temple, and had small Beach bath. Satisfied journey. then in the eve to our Friends sister reception. our target was reached things went as per our plan.
