Today's Doubt - Nascence

Independence Day celebration, the tradition of enjoying the day in the remembrance of our old struggle. But i don’t understand why we need to celebrate on the same day every year. As we do for our Birthday. There are some situations where we miss this day due to our busy hectic life. Can we celebrate this day other than the same day? Here is the example It is said that Bosnia and Herzegovina, got his independence on February 29, 1992, But they celebrate only on March 1st even in the leap year. Its true that US independence is July 4th, but they celebrate only on week days even if it falls on weekend. They have a national holiday 1 day every year though it falls on weekend for the lighting the sky with fireworks.

I just want to relate this with Birth day celebration, why do people celebrate only on this same day every year why not every month or every decade?? What would happen to the guy whose birthday falls in Feb 29th leap year, Do they need to wait for 4 years. No they just celebrate on the next day. Some people don’t bother on the day, some people simply strict and celebrate their birthday as per their star date only. Today’s world we celebrate on weekend even if it falls on any day of the particular week. If we are changing the day of our birthday itself, why not our Independence day.

History of Birthday, It was believed that evil spirit would visit the people on their birthdays. To protect the person having birthday from the evil effect, people used to surround him/her and make lot of noise to scare away the evil spirits. That’s why people light candle on the cake. It’s this reason people wish at midnight in the beginning of the birthday itself. They cut the cake and would celebrate and have sweets to show that it’s their new life. Thats why people thank god for their new life.

My doubt starts here, What is Birth Date, The date when the baby comes out ? as per our today's celebration. Why do people don’t consider from the Beginning, the origin, starting from the formation of the baby. We still give the name to the womb as baby when its gets developed and we celebrate different functions as per our south Indian custom depending on the number of the months. We need to wait 10 month to know the gender of the baby.

My Illogic Question is - why are we not counting these precious 10 months in our Birthday. Why simply we are taking the time when the baby is coming out. It’s very wrong in our science, are in our understanding. I donno how and why do this Astrology or Numerology also take up this same date, for whom this birth date is primary part in describing the future. So my symbolic view is to say that all this astrology and numerology are not that perfect even if they believe on it.

When i asked this question, some came up with the solution that, it’s said to be birth date only when it respires on his own, independently. When it was inside it would respire only through mother’s organ. Baby when present inside is dependent on mother.
          Yep may be these guys would be right. But My Question is what if somebody is very serious and admitted in hospital, and he is struggling for respiration and Doctor sets him nozzle oxygen (where he is dependent on others for their respiration). Will this hours or time would be subtracted for their next year birthday celebration.                        Save me am completely lost. !!

My thought is people just want to hang out and want to have celebration of their choice so they simple choose any day and for nameshake and they would trace that under any function.
