I remember the days, early 2000 when Abdul kalam was president. India started using tag "India at 2020" how India will be and should be in 2020. Trying to reach out the unreached. later when I researched why he said 2020. Its because, currently average age of India is 29, this is happening when rest of the world is ageing (Japan age 47, china 40+, Europe, 46, US 40). we have young blood who can rule the world. we have currently 160 million people with age group 20-24 our only competitive is china is having only 94 million people.
how people should modulate and change to the rapid developing technology. Lot of new strategies were in place during his tenure, transforming India into a developed nation, Mission to double the GDP, special focus on booming Agriculture sector keeping as a prime factor. Never forget the literacy rate which was 16% during independence has now raised to 74%.
