Special day to travel, time passes by so quick its another year now. Saturday morning train from Inverkeithing to Inverness (took around 3:15 mins)
Stay at Premier Inn (River Ness), drizzling day, booked tour package with Inverness Taxi.
Normally you have Hop on Hop off bus, but it was closed temporarily due to covid.
Places visited includes Urquhart castle, Culloden viaduct, Culloden battlefield, Clava cairns, Loch Ness Jacobite cruise route, Inverness Castle, Inverness Art and gallery, Ness river, East gate shopping centre etc.

Inverness city centre has good ambiance and you will love to spend time on the high street and around the Ness River.
On the return way we stopped near Aviemore and visited Morlich Loch beach (snow filled)
