1) Choosing young players - later proved that every match had couple of run outs and fast fielding reduced 10-20 runs. 2) keeping inexperienced players at death overs - any how we are in bad situation lets try with all our players, so that inexperience players will not have much pressure than others. 3) Using part time bowlers - Raina, Shewag, Yusuf pathan, yuvraj bowled 20 overs this boosted there confidence and created all rounders. 4) Starting with spinners - many a time it was successful. 5) Keeping the fielders behind umpires and behind wicket keepers at last crucial overs. 6) Removing the gloves for crucial balls, it worked many times. 7) Stumping the wickets at right milliseconds not before not after. 8) Acting as if ball not approaching and Deflecting the balls at last minute. 9) Even the yorker is turned to helicopter shot. 10) Respecting the elders - gave the worldcup to sachin and he was playing with his daughter. 11) Handling tough situation - he came before yuvraj inspite of his poor run in the tournament during final at worldcup. 12) using same people to attack same players - Ishant sharma to ricky pointing, Ashwin to gayle . I remember gayle was geting out couple of times in 1st over, next time dhoni didnt gave ashwin first over because he knows gayle will defence, even with any new bowler he will defence later he introduced ashwin for 3rd over and gayle already wasted few balls and cant defence anymore and got out. perfect example for analysing others mindset. 13) Creating pressure on opponent till last over- his slow batting allowing others to make mistake, but still maintains a high strike rate and average. 14) Converting 1 and half to 2 runs fast running between the wickets. 15) How many match winning knocks, lighting stumping, meaningful interviews , funny incidents(setting field for Bangladesh), his hobbies (bike and car), his love towards country's defence (Lieutenant Colonel) and many others. 16) Once playing against Australia when India nearly wining and Dhoni was playing he requested for gloves change but didn't change the glove and passed information to dugout to not celebrate, winning Australia should not be a big thing from now onwards.
